I can't stop thinking about the impact on Howard Cox's family all those years when the case was still unsolved. They must have lived with so much uncertainty and pain, not knowing if they'd ever see justice for Howard. It's really admirable how they managed to hold on through this ordeal. I can't imagine how difficult it must've been, especially with the case being cold for so long. The role forensic evidence played is a testament to how vital it is to keep evolving technology in the justice system. Without the DNA evidence, who knows if the family would have ever gotten answers? I hope that this closure, albeit late, has brought some peace to them. And it serves as a reminder that one day, justice might finally arrive even when hope seems dim. My heart goes out to them, and I hope each day brings them a little more healing.
