In the early evening of December 1, 2021, 20-year-old Caleb Alyn Brown, also known as 'Draco,' left his residence on Reach Orchard Road in Wagram, North Carolina. He was reportedly on his way to meet friends in Fayetteville, driving his gold 2000 Honda Accord. At approximately 7:36 p.m., he was last seen wearing a grey Nike zip-up jacket, a black shirt, black jeans, and multicolored Puma shoes. Concern grew when multiple attempts to contact Caleb by phone were unsuccessful. It was noted as uncharacteristic for him to have his phone off or the battery dead, as he always kept it fully charged, but after 8:16 p.m. that night, all calls went to voicemail.
The days following his departure were filled with growing worry for his family and friends. After not hearing from him, Caleb was officially reported missing to the Scotland County Sheriff's Office on December 3, 2021. The investigation into his disappearance began, with law enforcement and loved ones trying to piece together his last known movements. A significant development in the case came when his Honda Accord was found abandoned. The vehicle was located in a work zone on Highway 95 in Dunn, North Carolina, a considerable distance from where he was last seen. The car was empty, and there was no sign of Caleb.
The circumstances surrounding Caleb's disappearance have led investigators to suspect foul play. Described as a Native American male with green eyes, he had distinctive reddish-orange and brown dreadlocks that he often wore in a ponytail. He also has several tattoos, including 'My Brother's Keeper' on his left arm and 'My Sister's Protector' on his right arm. The Scotland County Sheriff's Office, along with other agencies, has been investigating the case, but despite some tips, none have led to a breakthrough. The case remains an active and troubling mystery, with a young man vanishing after setting out to meet friends, leaving behind only his abandoned car and a family desperate for answers.
