I’ve been thinking about how crucial those first 48 hours are in a murder investigation. It’s incredibly distressing to think that whoever did this to Francelia may have been close to her, and the absence of surveillance footage certainly seems like a massive hurdle. Are there any updates on whether local businesses in the area have upgraded their security since Francelia's murder? It must have been difficult for her family to go through the press conference and keep pleading for information years after. I can't imagine the pain of not having closure. It’s frustrating to see cases like this grow cold, but knowing her community hasn’t given up gives me some hope they’ll find justice eventually. How are similar cases addressed these days, and do they have a better chance with all the tech advances? Feeling helpless but wishing her family all the strength to keep pushing for answers. Any thoughts or insights on comparable outcomes are welcome.
