Did anyone else hear about the weather conditions on December 3 when Benjamin Godwin disappeared? I was wondering if bad weather might have played a role in this tragedy. We all know the Choctawhatchee Bay can get tricky with sudden storms or rough waters. Maybe the conditions that day were worse than anticipated, leading to his distress call? It just makes me think about the unpredictability of nature and how it can catch even the most experienced boaters off guard. Would love to hear any insights from locals who might have been aware of the weather that day.

I read about Benjamin Godwin's case, and I'm curious if anyone else thinks there's something odd about the distress call he made to his wife. Did anyone here catch any specifics about what he said in that call? It just seems strange that he would call for help and then vanish so quickly. Was there bad weather that day, or was something else going on in Choctawhatchee Bay? I've been following boating incidents for a while, and this one has honestly got me puzzled. Anyone with boating experience can shed some light on what might cause such a quick disappearance on the water?
