Hey everyone, I've been reading through some older cases, and R L Taylor's disappearance caught my attention. What intrigues me is that his case was only added to the NamUs database quite recently, in 2024, despite him going missing in 1977. I can't help but wonder if this could mean new evidence or renewed interest in solving the case has surfaced. Does anyone have any insight into why a case takes so long to be included in NamUs? Could it be a case of overlooked evidence finally being acknowledged, or maybe a change in the handling process for older cases? I've read that adding cases into NamUs can sometimes spur new leads or tips, which would be incredible for Taylor's family after all this time. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone who's familiar with how these things usually play out or if they've noticed similar patterns in other cases.
