Hey everyone, I'm curious about something regarding Tashard Smith's situation. Does anyone know why his case hasn't been assigned a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) number? I read that it might mean the case doesn’t meet their criteria, but what would those criteria be? It just seems odd that for a 17-year-old, there wouldn’t be that kind of federal involvement. Does it have anything to do with the circumstances surrounding his disappearance that maybe we aren’t aware of yet? Hoping that maybe someone with more legal knowledge or experience with missing persons cases can shed some light on this aspect. Let’s hope we get some updates soon!
