I’ve been thinking a lot about the timeline and why Tim Cruz was at the RTD light rail station that night. It's haunting to imagine the moments leading up to that terrible event. Was he coming home from work or heading to meet someone? I find myself hoping that he was at least at peace, unaware of the threat looming nearby. For his family, the pain must be unimaginable, knowing how senselessly his life was taken. It's comforting to know that justice has been served, and both Valdez and Valles are behind bars. I hope this brings some semblance of closure to those who loved him. My heart goes out to all of them during these tough times.

I was thinking about the impact on Tim Cruz’s family, and how immensely challenging it must be to find any semblance of peace after such a loss. It’s unimaginable having a loved one taken so suddenly and violently. With Nathan Valdez now serving a long sentence, I hope it brings at least a small sense of justice, though I know it can't fill the void left behind. It's frustrating to think about how much of this tragedy could have been prevented, especially considering the circumstances with Ever Valles. The legal system's complexities are hard to fully grasp, especially when decisions have such severe consequences. My heart truly goes out to Tim’s family and friends as they continue to navigate life without him. May we all remember the importance of seeking change to prevent these senseless acts.
