Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Oscar Ortiz Orozco. What really gets to me is the timing and setting of the attack. It was so early in the morning when everything is usually calm and still, as if life should be peaceful at that hour. It's unsettling to imagine how vulnerable we all are during seemingly routine parts of our day, like the drive to work.
Oscar was just starting his day, probably thinking about the kids he was going to drive to school and the regular tasks he had to do. It really makes you wonder about the mindset of the person behind this senseless act. Did they plan this, or was it a crime of opportunity? It seems like Oscar’s morning routine was known, which makes you think if anyone was watching him over time.
The lack of leads in cases like this is so frustrating, and I can't begin to imagine how hard it is for his family not to have closure or justice. If there's anyone from the area reading this, or if anyone thinks back to something unusual they might have seen or heard back then, it could make all the difference.
Hoping for a breakthrough, and sending thoughts to all who loved him.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been thinking a lot about the lack of concrete evidence in Oscar Orozco's case. It’s just baffling that nothing was taken from his vehicle, which makes the robbery angle so questionable. It almost feels like it could have been personal, or maybe a case of mistaken identity? I can’t help but wonder if anyone saw something suspicious around that intersection before the shooting happened. Oscar's routine seemed so ordinary and his character so grounded—what a tremendous loss for his family and the students he drove. Let’s hope someone somewhere has information that can shine a light on this case and bring some peace to those who knew and loved him. Keeping his family and community in my thoughts.
