You know what's been sticking out to me about Mattias' case? It's how little the public really knows about the circumstances. Like, how did he just vanish? I was going through his NamUs page (case MP134153), and it feels like there's a big piece missing here. He was last seen in Naples, Florida, on November 30, but no one is saying exactly where or what he was doing at that time. That's unusually vague for a kid disappearing. It's strange, too, that there hasn't been any mention of his friends or school in the discussion so far. Does anyone have any thoughts on if he was maybe just heading somewhere routine and something went wrong? Or could there be something more complex we're not aware of? Naples isn't exactly a tiny town, so I'm surprised more people haven't come forward, at least with sightings. It could help to hear from locals who might know more about what was happening around the time Mattias disappeared. We really need the community to keep eyes and ears open. It's these small details that could lead to a breakthrough in finding him. Anyone in Naples has anything they could share? Any gut feelings about where folks should be looking?

Hi everyone, I've been closely following the case of Mattias Sabogal, the 13-year-old who went missing in Naples, Florida, on November 30, 2024. Something that's been on my mind is why there's no associated NCMEC number for him, particularly since he's a minor. Does anyone know if there are specific criteria or circumstances that determine whether a case is registered with NCMEC? It seems odd that they wouldn't assign one, since we usually see these involved in cases of missing kids. Could it be that certain missing children cases don't get registered if there's a belief they might not be in danger? Or is it possible that local agencies are handling it without additional support? Hoping he's found safe soon. Any insights would be appreciated.
