Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Jose Ortiz, and I can't stop thinking about how tough this must be for his family and friends. I read that he was really focused on advancing his career. It must be so difficult knowing that all his aspirations were taken away so suddenly. It’s frustrating that even with witnesses seeing a vehicle speed away, no solid leads seemed to have come up. I’m curious if there have been any developments with community programs since then that aim to tackle the root causes of such violence. It would be reassuring to know that some positive changes might be happening to prevent similar incidents from occurring. Hoping for answers and justice for Jose and his loved ones.
