DNA is an amazing thing. At least she was found and the mystery of 'if' she had died was definitively solved but not the 'who' had done it. It does say she may have been involved in organized crime. Yet another victim of organized crime back when the mob ruled Vegas.
I’ve been digging into Anna Sylvia Just’s case, and something keeps bugging me. Why were her belongings found buried in the desert? I mean, whoever did this could have just left them out there, but instead, they took the time to bury them. Seems like someone was trying to hide something. Back in the 60s, Las Vegas wasn’t as built up, so I'm wondering if this was a local familiar with the area or maybe someone who happened to be passing by? It's odd to think about the risk they took to cover it up. Anyone else have thoughts on why someone would take that extra step?
