Hey everyone, It’s so distressing to read about how a family conflict could end in such a tragic loss, like in the case of Eric Perry. What stands out to me is how these domestic disputes can quietly simmer until they explode in the worst ways. I can't imagine the emotional turmoil Eric’s widow, Arlene, must be going through, not only mourning her husband but also dealing with the aftermath of a family relationship that turned fatal. It makes me wonder, could there have been warning signs or opportunities to mediate before things got so bad? The thought of family ties being severed and the heartbreak that must extend beyond immediate relatives is just so, so sad. We often hear about these kinds of incidents far too late. If only talking about issues was normalized more within families, maybe tragedies like this could be prevented. Keeping Eric and his family in my thoughts, and hoping that anyone with more information will come forward to help bring closure. Stay safe and take care of each other. -Riley ?
