Has anyone else noticed the lack of a public bulletin for Anthony Howard's disappearance? I find it odd that despite being in the Missing Persons Clearinghouse and NamUs, there's still no widespread alert. I understand there might be reasons for keeping certain details under wraps, but wouldn't more public awareness help in locating him? It's been almost a month since he was reported missing. Maybe local groups or social media could bridge that gap, getting his face out there more widely. Thoughts on why this might be the case, or suggestions on how we can help spread the word?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to wrap my head around the timeline of Anthony Howard's disappearance. He was last seen on August 28, 2024, but wasn't reported missing until nearly a month later, on September 22. That's a pretty significant gap. Does anyone have any insight on why there was such a delay in reporting? It's strange, especially for a 17-year-old. Could this have affected the investigation in any way? Just wondering if anyone else thinks this is an unusual aspect of the case. Any thoughts or similar cases where a delay impacted search efforts?
Has anyone else been following the case of Anthony David Rudy Howard from Fairbanks? It’s been weighing on my mind ever since I read about it. What stood out to me is the fact that the clearinghouse updates the list of missing persons daily. It made me wonder how resource-intensive that must be and how they prioritize cases—do they take any special circumstances into account when deciding which bulletins to generate? I wasn’t aware before that some cases might not have bulletins at all. It seems like it would be helpful information for the public to understand a bit more about why that is. If anyone here has experience with this system or similar ones, I’d be interested to know more about how they decide to allocate resources and attention. Thoughts?
