I was reading up on Wayne Bowden's case, and something that caught my attention was the fact that it happened on Christmas Day. I can't imagine how devastating it must be for the family, especially his son, to associate such a normally joyful time with this tragedy. It's terrible to think that while so many were celebrating, someone was committing such a brutal act. The holidays can be a really tough time for some people, and I wonder if that played a role in the break-ins around the area. If they were connected, it makes you think about the kinds of situations that could push individuals to do something so desperate and violent. I’m holding out hope that someone knows something and will eventually come forward—Wayne deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
