Wayne Leroy Bowden, aged 77, was found murdered inside his home in San Antonio, Texas, on December 25, 2013. The discovery was made by his son, who had not heard from him for several days and decided to check on him. Upon entering the residence on Queens Crescent, he found his father dead in the kitchen around 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.
