Hi everyone,
I've been following Alejandra Gueldner's tragic case and wanted to discuss something that hasn't been touched on much—her routine and the area where she was last seen. Working late shifts at the Hilton Americas must've made her regular walking routes quite familiar to her. I wonder if she felt safe in that area or if there were any previous incidents that made her wary.
The location near the George R. Brown Convention Center is busy during the day, but it might be pretty desolate in the wee hours. It's chilling to think about how someone could encounter such violence so close to familiar surroundings. Does anyone know if there have been any efforts to increase security presence or lighting in that area since this awful event?
My thoughts stay with Alejandra’s loved ones as they search for answers. Hoping justice will be served and that her story prompts positive changes for those who work these demanding hours.
Stay safe, everyone.
