I came across Julio Rodriguez's case again, and it made me ponder about the role of community in solving cold cases. It's so important for those of us in the area—or who may have been in the area back in 2014—to think back and consider if we might have seen or heard anything unusual around that time. Crime Stoppers has been pushing for information, which shows just how pivotal public involvement can be. Even after all these years, we owe it to Julio and his family to keep the conversation going and remain vigilant. Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that might seem insignificant that can make all the difference. If anyone remembers anything from that night or knows someone who does, it's crucial to report it. HPD and the Cold Case Squad are still actively working on this, and every bit of information counts. Let's help bring justice to where it belongs.
