It's so difficult to imagine what Rafael's family must be going through after his tragic loss. It's unsettling how someone could be targeted like that, just steps away from seeing someone they care about. I keep thinking about the description of the suspect and that black SUV. It seems like such a bold and brazen act—how could someone do this in an area likely filled with families and people going about their day? It makes me wonder if there were security cameras in the complex that might have picked up something. With so much focus on reducing violent crime in Southwest Houston, I truly hope the police get the break they need in this case. My thoughts are with Rafael’s loved ones as they seek justice and try to heal.
