Has anyone else been thinking about the welfare check in Jesse's case? I've been wondering what would have happened if the family hadn't reached out when they did. It's so important that they followed their instincts and asked for help—it's the kind of thing that often slips through the cracks in cases like this. It must be incredibly difficult for Jesse's family, knowing that their actions were what ultimately led to the discovery of what happened. I can't imagine the pain of waiting and not knowing, all while hoping everything is okay. Sending a lot of compassion to them as they deal with all of this. How important do you all think these welfare checks are in general in solving cases or bringing them to light?
