Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking about the rise in homicides in Fort Worth in 2016, particularly how domestic violence seemed to play a significant role. Russell Aldridge's case stands out to me—it's truly distressing that his murder remains unsolved. It's concerning not just because of the tragedy of his death, but also because it highlights a larger issue within the community that seemed to spiral during that time period.
I've read that support services and shelters were struggling to keep up due to funding issues. It really makes me wonder: if there had been more resources available for families in crisis, could some of these tragedies have been prevented? And for the loved ones left behind, what support do they have now? I’m hoping that as a community, we can come together to address these underlying issues and prevent future heartbreak. Thoughts or insights?
