I've been following Linda Neukum's case, and my heart goes out to her family. I can't imagine their pain, especially around the holidays when she was last seen. I've been curious about the witness description of the suspect. It's been decades, and I'm wondering how reliable these descriptions are after such a long time. Has anyone else noticed if more recent investigations have turned up anything new about this suspect? It just feels so frustrating to think he could still be out there living his life, while Linda's life was taken so cruelly. Anyone local to the San Diego area remember hearing anything back then or since? It feels like there are always small details that might have been overlooked or resurfaced over time.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Linda Neukum case, and something that's been on my mind is the location. The alley where Linda was attacked is pretty close to several nightlife spots in downtown San Diego. Given it was close to Christmas, there must have been quite a few people out and about at that time. It makes me think there might be witnesses who saw something but didn’t realize its significance at the time.
I've read accounts of people noticing "strange behavior" in busy places, and it often gets dismissed because of the hustle and bustle. If anyone here is familiar with downtown San Diego during that era, do you remember any increased police activity or even rumors going around after the incident?
It's been so long without answers for Linda's family, and it feels like there could still be untapped leads out there. I hope someone, somewhere, remembers something that could bring some closure to her loved ones. Thinking of them and hoping for justice.
It's so upsetting to think about Linda Neukum's last moments that night. A thought crossed my mind about the description of the suspect witnesses reported seeing running down Second Street. Can anyone clarify—was there ever any attempt to create a composite sketch or did law enforcement receive any additional eyewitness testimonies after the initial reports? It just seems crucial to have a visual, even if it's not the most detailed, to help jog memories or get anyone else who might have seen something that night to come forward. My heart goes out to Linda’s family and friends; they're going through such an incredibly tough time. It seems baffling that after all these years, there haven't been more developments on who this person might be. I hope justice is eventually served.
