Has anyone else been thinking about the wider impact this tragedy might have on the local community? Studio 74 was always seen as a haven for young people with a passion for dance and music. It’s a real shame that something like this even happened there. I can’t imagine what the owner and staff are going through, knowing their space was used for an event that ended so tragically. Plus, the community must be shaken. Places like Studio 74 are supposed to be safe spots where young folks can express themselves without fear. I truly hope something positive comes out of this, like better oversight of such gatherings and perhaps more community programs that give our youth the support they need. It’s just a tough reminder of how quickly something beautiful can turn into a nightmare. Thinking of Jordan Larkin’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
