It's so tragic whenever we lose someone in such a senseless act of violence. Jose Hernandez's loss must be a tremendous void for his family and loved ones, especially given the circumstances surrounding the incident. I can't stop thinking about the location where it happened. The fact that it took place in the middle of the day at 5840 Glenmont Drive is unsettling. Many people could have been around—kids coming back from school, people running errands, or others just going about their day. It makes me wonder if there’s more surveillance footage from nearby businesses or homes that wasn't available or recognized initially. Sometimes it feels like there are pieces of the puzzle out there, just waiting to be put together. The community's call for increased efforts against violence is so important, not just in Jose's case but for everyone. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail, I hope they step forward. Sending all my thoughts to Jose's family, hoping they find the justice and peace they deserve.
