On November 30, 2016, the skeletal remains of 32-year-old Amalia Alexander, a Hispanic female, were discovered in a shallow grave in Montgomery County, Texas. She had been reported missing on September 20, 2016, after failing to appear at work. Evidence indicated that she was last seen leaving her apartment complex with her ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old Jarvis Hickerson, an African American male, on September 19, 2016.
