I just read about the case of Loretta Alexander, and I can’t stop thinking about how her family and friends must be feeling even now, years later. It's so frustrating to see how often these cases get stuck due to lack of leads and public cooperation. It's like her story just got lost in the chaos of everything else that was going on in Houston at that time.
I wonder if community outreach could have been stronger back then, or if it could be improved now, to help solve these kinds of cases. It's important for people to feel like they can safely come forward with information. I really hope her family sees some progress soon—it must be incredibly difficult to live with so much uncertainty. Each unsolved case is a person, a loved one, whose story deserves to be completed. Keeping Loretta in my thoughts and hoping for some movement towards justice.
