I've been reading up on the tragic case of Rosalio Sandoval, who was senselessly killed back in 2017 at his workplace in Houston. One thing that keeps me up at night is wondering how someone like Juan Aguilus could just disappear without a trace. It feels like these cases where the suspect goes on the run often become a mental burden not just for the victim's family but for everyone involved in pursuing justice. I can't help but wonder about the tools and technology available today—are they being utilized to their fullest potential to track down fugitives like Aguilus? Especially in such a densely populated city like Houston. Maybe there's more we as a community can do to keep this case alive in the public eye, supporting efforts to both remember Mr. Sandoval and pressure those who might have information on Aguilus to come forward. Sending thoughts and strength to the Sandoval family who have had to live with this unimaginable loss and those still hoping for closure. If anyone local has any updates or insight into how the community is responding, I'd love to hear it.
