I've been following the Sharyn Kamrath case and couldn't stop thinking about the location choices. It's incredibly telling that the suspect had Sharyn drive to such a desolate area on Gilman Drive, especially considering how undeveloped it was back in '86. It makes me wonder if he was familiar with the area and knew it would be quiet, making it easier to avoid immediate detection. It breaks my heart to think about the fear Sharyn must have felt in those moments. It’s also curious how the car was found back in Hillcrest. Could it suggest the suspect had some sort of plan to return to an area where he felt comfortable or less conspicuous? Or maybe it was just part of his desperate attempt to ditch the cab quickly. I really hope more people out there remember something that could spark a new lead. My thoughts go out to Sharyn's family and friends; they deserve some answers.

I recently stumbled across the case of Sharyn Kamrath, and something that really sticks with me is the courage she showed in those final moments. Despite being gravely injured, Sharyn was able to provide a detailed account of what happened and a description of her attacker. I can't even imagine the strength it must have taken to remain so focused and articulate while enduring such trauma. It's apparent that she was determined to help catch her attacker, even though she must have known her injuries were severe. It's so frustrating that the description she provided hasn't led to an arrest, especially considering how thorough it was. I'm wondering if anyone has insights into why this case hasn't been solved after all these years. Was there perhaps a lack of follow-up with the newly homeless or transient populations in the area at the time? And also, I can't help but think about Sharyn's loved ones—what a difficult road this must be for them, knowing she tried so hard to seek justice with her last breath. If anyone has more information about how this case may connect to Linda Sue Younger's murder or any updates, I'd love to hear from you. Sharyn deserves justice, and her family deserves answers.
