I came across Rose Busch's case from 1968 recently, and something particular caught my attention: the bloody gloves found in the neighborhood. It makes me wonder about their significance—did the killer use them to avoid leaving fingerprints, or could they have fallen off during a struggle?
It's incredibly frustrating that these clues didn't lead to any breakthroughs back then. Given the level of evidence left around, you would think there'd be more answers. I can't even imagine the frustration felt by Rose's family over the years, knowing these pieces of evidence existed but never brought them closer to justice.
What's more, the lack of modern forensics at the time must have been a huge roadblock. If only DNA analysis had been available, maybe those gloves could have identified the perpetrator or ruled out suspects. It's tragic to think how advances in technology came too late for this case. My heart goes out to the family and friends who have waited so long for answers, hoping one day there would be some closure.
