I'm finding it odd that Valerie was removed from the NCIC in 2002, and no one seems to know why. That’s a huge gap, and it leaves so many questions unanswered. Usually, law enforcement keeps someone on the list unless they’re found or there's substantial evidence to justify removal. The family not being notified also makes me wonder if there was some kind of administrative mishap or oversight. Could this have affected the investigation, or limited any chance of getting tips? It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that's missing. Would love to hear if anyone knows more about how these removals typically happen or if similar things have occurred with other cases!

Has anyone considered the discrepancy regarding Valerie's removal from the NCIC in 2002? It seems really strange that she was taken out of the system without any clear reason. Does anyone know if there are cases where individuals are removed from NCIC without being found? It doesn't make sense that neither the family nor anyone else was informed. This is such a long gap of time to go without any updates. I’m curious if there's any chance of finding out who made that decision or why it was done. Valerie traveled a fair bit—it’s possible she made it to Albuquerque, NM. Would that affect how her case was handled in 2002?

Has anyone else noticed the odd timing around Valerie's removal from the NCIC database back in 2002? It's baffling to me how someone can just be "removed" without solid reasons, especially when there's no confirmation of her being found. Could it have been a clerical error, or did someone mistakenly assume she was no longer missing? With the ex-husband's claim that she returned to Florida, it makes me wonder if there might have been some mix-up or miscommunication. This aspect of the case really stands out; if crucial steps were missed, we might be lacking vital information that could lead to unraveling what really happened. Has anyone come across similar cases, where someone was prematurely removed from missing person records? What could possibly cause such an oversight?
