Hey everyone,
With the anniversary of Patricia Mays' tragic case just behind us, I've been revisiting some articles and forums about her. The lack of progress is truly unsettling and I can't help but think about how her family must feel. One detail that sticks with me is the sense of fear that must have been present in Knoxville back in 2004 with multiple unsolved cases popping up.
I came across a few mentions of community initiatives that were started in response to these murders, aimed at increasing neighborhood security and vigilance. Does anyone know if those efforts led to any developments or changes in public safety strategies? It'd be great to hear if they had a positive impact, even in the long term.
Sending thoughts to Patricia's loved ones and hoping for breakthroughs in these cold cases, not just for her but for all the families waiting for answers.
Take care everyone!
Hi everyone,
I came across Patricia Mays' case recently and it's really been on my mind. It's been so long, yet still no justice or answers for her family. I was wondering if anyone here has insights or thoughts on whether there were any potential witnesses or if there were community efforts back in the day that tried to address the string of unsolved cases in Knoxville? It's distressing to think about how many lives were shattered without closure. Hopefully, with fresh eyes and renewed interest, something will finally break this case open. Sending thoughts to all those affected and hoping that one day, justice will be served for Patricia and other victims.
Take care,
