I've been following Matthew Hailey's case since it first happened, and one detail that stuck out to me is the surveillance footage from the motel. It's said that the video captured bits of what happened that night, showing the comings and goings of those involved. I can't imagine how painful it must be for Matthew's family to know that there's footage of his final moments, yet still no justice. It's haunting to think how such evidence might have brought them a step closer to closure and yet here we are, still seeking answers more than a decade later. What frustrates me the most is how many pieces of the puzzle seem to exist, yet they don't seem to fit together to finally solve this. I truly hope that one day soon, the missing pieces will fall into place, and justice will be served for Matthew and his loved ones. Holding onto hope for answers feels like such a long road...
