Hey everyone, I came across some posts about Archie Edward Herring Jr., also known as "Stinka," and wanted to share a bit about the community vibe around the time of his tragic passing. I wasn't part of Archie's immediate circle, but I lived nearby and remember the profound sense of loss in the area after June 3, 2009. People often recall how Archie lit up any room he walked into with his smile. It's incredible how many stories have come out from folks who knew him, emphasizing not just the grief but also celebrating the joy he brought to those around him. At his funeral in Gallaway, it was touching to see the outpouring of love and support. The community truly came together to honor his memory, a testament to the impact he had within his tight-knit group. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends experienced at that time, but it's evident he was cherished by all who knew him. Everyone has their own way of remembering him, and it's clear he left a lasting mark. Just wanted to share this little piece of what I remembered, and maybe some of you have more light to shed on who Archie was or the legacy he left behind. Stay safe, everyone.
