Does anyone know more about the recent extradition of a suspect from El Salvador in Jafar Barzanjy’s case? I can't imagine how difficult it's been for his family to wait all these years for answers. It must be somewhat of a relief, but also reopening old wounds. Extradition processes can be incredibly complex and drawn out—I'm curious about how this was finally achieved after so long. I wonder what evidence connected the suspect to the crime and whether more will come to light now that he is facing charges. It’s heartening to see some movement on this case, but also sobering to reflect on how long justice can sometimes take.
