Hey everyone. I’ve been following Jerod Jeterio Lewis’s case and wanted to talk about the “Stop the Violence” 5K walk/run that his family organizes every year. I think this is such an incredible way to honor Jerod’s memory and keep the focus on making a difference in the community. It's amazing to see so many people come together for a cause that promotes healing and unity. Events like this can be powerful catalysts for change, and it’s inspiring that Jerod's family has channeled their grief into something so meaningful. I know that nothing can bring Jerod back or lessen the family's loss, but these efforts can shine a light on the need to address violence and support those affected by it. Sending lots of love and strength to the Lewis family and everyone involved in the Jerod House initiatives. If anyone on here has attended the 5K or participated in their programs, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Maybe there's more we can all do to help support their work or similar local initiatives. Thoughts?
