As someone following cold cases, I find it incredibly frustrating that Shavonda Hodge's tragic murder remains unsolved. I can't even begin to imagine what her family is going through, having to relive the pain every time they ask for more information. It's especially tough knowing a young child was left motherless because of this. I was reading about the Cold Case Unit's involvement, and it seems they're putting effort into using new forensic techniques, which is promising. It makes me wonder though, are there any ways we as a community can further support their efforts? Besides keeping the discussion alive and spreading the word, maybe there's something more tangible we could do? This crime affected so many people, and it feels like justice has taken too long to come. If anyone has experience with following cold cases or knows more about how cold case units work, I'd love to hear your insights. It’s about time we find some resolution for Shavonda and her family.
