It's been almost a decade since Todd Jones was tragically taken from his family, and justice is still slowly inching forward. I just keep thinking about his family and how difficult these years must have been for them. Todd was shot on what seemed like a regular January day, and it’s haunting to know it wasn't random but part of a targeted attack that also impacted multiple others. The community in North Memphis must have been shaken to its core, not just by his death, but by the entire series of violent events that year. Kudos to the Cold Case Unit for their persistence, though—I can't imagine how taxing it must be to sift through such complicated cases, year after year, with so much on the line for the victims' families. Hope the upcoming trial for the third suspect brings more answers and helps finally ease some of the pain for those affected. ? My heart goes out to Todd’s loved ones and all families coping with violent crimes. It’s tough knowing justice takes time, but it’s a reminder of the importance of never giving up on these cases.
