Has anyone else noticed how often we hear about these tragic incidents related to gun violence in Memphis? It's devastating to think about folks like Darnell Killebrew, just sitting on his porch, getting caught up in something so senseless and sudden. From what I've read, he was a well-respected member of his community, and losing someone like that must have been incredibly difficult for everyone who knew him. It's frustrating to see how innocent lives are taken, and sometimes it feels like these incidents don't get the attention they deserve. Surely, something's got to give—whether it's through community action or policy changes, we need to find a way to make our neighborhoods safer. My heart goes out to Darnell's friends and family as they navigate life without him. What can be done to truly address the root causes of this ongoing violence?
