Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Irving Guy? I can’t help but think about the impact this has had on his family and friends. It’s so frustrating that nearly seven years have gone by without any real leads. It must be incredibly painful for them to know his case is still unsolved. With it being in broad daylight, you’d hope someone would have seen or heard something that could help the investigation. I recently read that despite no arrests, the Memphis PD is still actively looking into this through their Cold Case Unit. It gives me hope that maybe someone will finally come forward with information. It’s a stark reminder of how gun violence has affected so many lives in Memphis. My heart goes out to all the families who are waiting for answers. Let’s hope for some progress soon, especially for Irving and his loved ones.
