Does anyone else find it infuriating how much disregard there is for the lives of homeless individuals? Alvester Merriweather deserved so much more than this senseless and brutal death. When we walk past people on the street, we rarely consider what their stories might be or the struggles they are facing. It's deeply troubling that Alvester's murder seems to have gone unnoticed by many, simply because he lacked the traditional trappings of a more "visible" life. He was a human being who, like all of us, deserved love, respect, and justice. I'm hoping that the community rallies together to provide the information needed to solve this case. Let's not forget that he had people who cared for him and mourned his loss. Can anyone close to the area provide updates on the investigation? I'm really hoping the detectives can get some leads soon.
