Has anyone ever dug into the weather reports from the night Raymond and Mary vanished? The heavy snow is mentioned a lot, but I'm curious about the specifics. Like, how severe was it, exactly, and could it have genuinely prevented them from reaching Des Moines? If the storm was bad enough, there's a possibility they were forced to pull over or take shelter somewhere along the route. Perhaps their car got buried under snow in a remote area that wasn't searched thoroughly. Given the conditions, it feels like a plausible angle that hasn't been fully explored, at least from what I've seen. What do you all think? Could Mother Nature have played a bigger role in this than we're considering?
Has anyone ever looked into the weather conditions more closely from the night Raymond and Mary disappeared? I've been reading through some old articles and noticed there was heavy snow reported. It makes me wonder if the weather factored into their sudden vanishing. Was there any official record of road closures or any travel warnings issued back then for the route they were supposed to take? Considering they were driving that green Chevrolet, poor visibility and road conditions might've played a significant role. Seems like it’s a bit of a mystery how a car could just disappear without a trace despite those conditions, right? Would love to hear any insights or thoughts on this angle!
