I was diving into Jennifer Wyant's case and I can't get past the fact that her driver's license was found 15 miles away on Blue Lake Lane. Does anyone else think that's a deliberate move by whoever took her? Almost like they wanted to create a false lead or confuse investigators about where she might have been taken? It seems strange that only her license would be discovered with nothing else nearby. Also, I've read that area wasn't searched thoroughly until months later. In those early days, that delay could have been crucial. Could it be that whoever was responsible knew the area well enough to exploit those gaps in the investigation? Curious about what you guys think.
Has anyone else looked into the security at Tanglewood Apartments back in the 80s? I'm curious about how robust it was, considering they seemed to have been informed about the abduction but didn’t contact the police right away. It just got me thinking if perhaps security logs or reports, if they existed, could have held any names or descriptions of vehicles that were on the premises that night. Given that neighbors heard a scream and saw her being taken, it feels like there might have been more witnesses or even regular visitors at the complex who might’ve noticed something unusual. If anyone has any information or ideas on how one might go about uncovering old records like these, it could really help shed some light on the movements around the time of her disappearance.
