Does anyone else find it odd that there’s little to no documentation or sightings of Ricky Lee Franks between leaving his mother's home and his reported disappearance? I mean, it's a short walk to the grocery store from Norvel Avenue. You'd think there would be more witnesses or even someone who saw him along the way. It's as if he just vanished into thin air. And it makes me wonder about the path he took—was it his usual route? Did he meet someone he knew? Given his situation, maybe something or someone caught his attention, or he could've been easily persuaded to take a detour. If anyone local remembers that area during the mid-80s, can you share if there were spots along the way that might have been concerning or places where someone could readily disappear? It seems like these little details might be crucial in a case this old.
