Hey everyone, I've been delving into the Susan Swedell case from 1988 and something curious keeps catching my attention. Has anyone else been intrigued by her decision to change into a short skirt before leaving work that snowy night? It's such an odd detail given how cold it was, and it almost feels like she was meeting someone or had plans that her family didn’t know about.
I can't help but wonder if the unidentified man at the gas station might have had some kind of connection to her, maybe someone she trusted enough to change her outfit for. Could there have been a hidden aspect of Susan's life that we just don't know about? What do you all think about the significance of her outfit change on that night? Feel free to share any ideas or if you’ve come across similar cases where victims exhibited unexpected behavior before they vanished.
I've always been puzzled by the decision Susan made to change clothes before leaving her work, especially given the snowy weather that night. Why switch from a pantsuit to a short skirt during a snowstorm? It just doesn't make sense to me, unless there was something planned or anticipated that we don't know about. Could it have been a spontaneous decision, or was there someone she was meeting, someone who would be more familiar with her in a different outfit? The fact that she changed in such harsh weather conditions has always stuck out to me as a missing puzzle piece. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect of the case?
Has anyone else been really puzzled by Susan's decision to change out of her pantsuit into a short skirt before leaving work that night? Given the snowstorm and freezing temperatures, that seems like such an unexpected choice. Was she planning to meet someone? Or could this have been a spontaneous decision that holds some clue about her mindset or expectations for the evening? I can't help but wonder if there are more pieces to this puzzle we just don't have yet.
