Hi everyone, I wanted to share a few thoughts about the tragic incident in Ensley and maybe spark some discussion around it. Rasheed Ward's passing has been weighing heavily on my mind, especially as we learn more about what happened that night. From everything I've read, he was so young and had his whole life ahead of him. It's just so sobering to see lives cut short in instances like these. What really gets to me is the randomness of the violence. Rasheed and Keith were caught in this terrible confrontation, and yet we're all still left asking questions about what led up to it, and why it had to happen this way. It just doesn’t make sense. I wonder if anyone knows more about the community response to this. I hope there’s some support coming in for the families and friends who are undoubtedly struggling right now. It must be incredibly tough for them to deal with this immense loss. If anyone has info or thoughts to share, especially about community support or prevention, it would be great to hear from you.
