I've been looking into Susan Cassell's case, and something that really stands out to me is the timing of James taking their son on a camping trip the night of her disappearance. It's strange to me because planning a camping trip after a double shift seems inconvenient, especially when you have a young child. Plus, Susan was reportedly expected to be back to call her mom, but then she's gone the same day? I can't help but wonder if the camping trip was a convenient alibi or if there's more to the story there. Anyone else find this aspect a bit odd? Would love to hear any theories or similar case comparisons!
