I’ve been thinking about the detail that Donald had an interest in Hare Krishna and often visited churches and libraries. Could it be possible that he sought refuge or even started a new life within a religious community? Religious groups, especially back in the early '90s, sometimes offered a kind of sanctuary for those in distress or looking for a fresh start. Plus, with his condition and previous disappearance in Texas, it's not far-fetched to think he might've traveled again. Maybe checking with different religious organizations or communities, especially those who were active in the early '90s in and around Massachusetts, might yield some leads. I'm sure some members might recall him if he was spending significant time in their spaces. It would be interesting to know if investigators explored this angle deeply enough during their searches.
