Has anyone looked into why Daugherty's purse and wallet were left at home? It's just so odd considering she supposedly went to buy a bathing suit. You'd think she'd bring her wallet with her! Plus, if she didn't have her ID, could she even buy anything? Maybe she never intended to go shopping at all. It just feels like another piece that doesn't fit in this puzzle. Also, with her car seat pushed back like that, it makes me think someone else was definitely involved. Maybe someone was waiting for her at Target. What do you all think?

I've always found it curious how Daugherty's car was found in the parking lot with the driver's seat adjusted for someone much taller than she was. If she went there with the intent to shop, wouldn't it be bizarre for her to change the seat position before going into the store? It makes me wonder if someone else drove it there after something happened to her. The absence of her purse and identification at the scene is also puzzling. Could it suggest she never intended to go shopping after all? Maybe she met someone she knew at the lot? I'm leaning toward the thought that someone might have staged the car’s location to divert attention. Anyone else have thoughts on the implications of the adjusted seat?

One thing that really stands out to me about the Daugherty case is the detail about the car's driver's seat being adjusted for someone over six feet tall. It’s such a peculiar and chilling element. If Daugherty was notably shorter, which I assume she was since it was pointed out, why would her seat be in that position unless someone else drove the car? It makes me wonder if she met with someone in the parking lot, either by choice or coercion. Could this person have been familiar to her, or was it a complete stranger? Also, considering her purse and wallet were left at home, did she plan on immediately returning or was the trip spontaneous for some reason? There are so many unanswered questions, yet this small detail about the seat height opens up a host of possibilities about who could’ve been in that car. What do others think about this specific clue? It feels like it could be key in understanding what happened that evening.
