I came across this case and can't stop thinking about the conflicting witness statements. It's so frustrating when details don't line up, but eyewitness accounts can be notoriously unreliable, especially in such a traumatic situation. I really feel for David Scott Barnwell’s family; not only are they dealing with their loss, but also the confusion surrounding the investigation must be so difficult.
