It's hard to believe that after so many years, Betsy's family and friends have had to live without answers. It’s distressing to know that crucial evidence might have been lost due to a janitor cleaning the area before investigators had a chance to secure it. It makes you wonder how different the case might have been if the investigation had been treated with the urgency it deserved from the get-go. With modern forensics, even the smallest piece of evidence can be key, so it's frustrating to think about what we may never know because of those early oversights. My heart goes out to those who continue to seek justice and truth for Betsy. It's a chilling reminder of how important it is for authorities to carefully manage crime scenes, not just for the sake of solving the case but for the victim and their loved ones who are left behind searching for closure.
