Has anyone else been digging into the environment in Philly during the time Ameen Foster was killed? It's just so frustrating to think about how much violence was going on then. My heart goes out to his family, and so many others, who were just trying to live their lives but were caught in this wave of terror. It's infuriating thinking about how many cases during that time went unsolved. The fact that arguments could escalate to the point of murder says a lot about what daily life must have been like. But how do the police and community move forward when a whole atmosphere feels stacked against them? If anyone has insights or resources about what efforts were or are being made to address these issues, I'd love to hear from you.
